The bio-lifting of the NEW Toplite Cosmetic Systems HydraGlow+ works with iontophoresis, needleless mesotherapy, to deliver high doses of active ingredients, vitamins and serums to the skin. The procedure originally comes from medicine and works with a weak electrical direct current. The substances that are to be introduced into the tissue must have an electrical charge or be dissolved in an appropriate medium so that they can flow into the skin with the current. The resulting electronic field opens fine protein channels in the upper layers of the skin, through which the skin becomes permeable for a short time.
The skin’s protective barrier is not impaired. During application, blood circulation is also stimulated to activate the metabolism and support the formation of collagen.
While only around 10% of the active ingredients in everyday cosmetics reach the deeper layers of the skin, where they can develop their full effect, iontophoresis enables an efficiency of up to 90%. In addition, the active ingredients introduced form a depot that remains in the skin and thus ensures long-lasting refreshment.
